She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Lauffer and Janet Lauffer; and her husband Farrel Padgett. She is survived by : her sister Debbie Johnson; her nieces, Cristy Laurenti (Justin) and Terri Deemer; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany Rotto (Johnny), Tyler Hill (Kelsey), Brice, Jordon, Garrick Shellhammer (Shelly) and McKenna Shellhammer; and her friends, Betty Rawlings, Dan, Nancy Martinez and Walter Jones.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Broecker Funeral Home (949 W Village Rd, Salado, TX 76571). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Broecker Funeral Home Chapel (949 W Village Rd, Salado, TX 76571). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas Veteran Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542). The military honors will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 at the Va Cemetery.
