He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Pope and Pearl Waddill Pope; his sisters, Dorothy Gracey, Gloria Johnstone and Becky Shelton; and his grandson John D. Franklin.
He is survived by : his wife Sandra Pope of Dallas; his children, Paul Pope of Tyler, Michael Franklin of Dallas and Terry Cosper of Irving; his sister Charlotte Townsend of Allen; and his grandchildren, John Pope, Charles Cosper, Jr., Ashley Taylor and Brittany Pope. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartley Funeral Home (1015 W Wolfe St, Grand Saline, TX 75140). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
