She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy Babb and Carmen Doris Babb (McGil); her husband Johnny Holmes; her grandson Daniel Paul Holmes; and her siblings, Nelda MacFall and Archa Babb.
She is survived by : her children, Mark (Susan Holmes) of Lindale, April Holmes of New Harmony and Terri Holmes of Lindale; her sister Carolyn Harris of New Harmony; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Holmes of Lindale, Carmen Lowe of Lindale and Matthew Stroud of Lindale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the New Harmony Baptist Church (10251 FM 724, Tyler, TX 75704).
