With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Whitehead of Clute, Texas, born in Sandia, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Whitehead and Ruth Whitehead; his brother Charles Whitehead; and his great grandchild Keegan. He is survived by : his wife Patsy; his children, Jodie Pentak, Jill Hanks, Vanessa Whitehead, James Fitch and Timothy Fitch; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Lauren, Landon, Marshall, Madison, Anna, Ariana, Araya and Opal-Ann. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Clute (101 Brazoswood Dr, Clute, TX 77531). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 13th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Houston Police Retired Officers Association and the Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.
