It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie B. Duren of Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Luther Duren and Paralee Duren; and his wife Jerolyn Duren. He is survived by : his children, Steve Duren of Texarkana and Shelly Greer (Richard) of Texarkana; his grandson Blake McKellar (Julia); his great grandchildren, Micah and Luke McKellar of Fort Worth; his step-children, Linda Kurtz of Texarkana and Jerry Pippins (Sue) of Austin; and his siblings, Ouida Lann of DeKalb and Max Duren of Bryant.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Funeral Home (2807 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
