It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Matt Stripling of Murchison, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Orth Phill Stripling and Lorene Bowman (Johnnie Stripling); and his sister Phillys Stripling. He is survived by : his son Travis Stripling; his sister Janette Tkach; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Stripling; and his grandchildren, Spencer Callison, Shyanne White and Braxton Stripling. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home (215 E Front St, Tyler, TX 75702). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westwood Baptist Church (820 N NW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75702). A burial will be held on Friday, February 16th 2024 at the Rock Hill Cemetery.
