She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Collins and Lucy Collins; her husband Tommy Lawhon; and her siblings, Joe Collins, Hellen Ferguson and LaVerne Abbott.
She is survived by : her brother Larry Collins (Luchyne) of Spicewood, Texas; her children, Glenda Holloway (Tommy) of Chattanooga, Deborah Greinert (Doug) of Thorndale, Gene Hartgrove of Coppers Cove, Mona Dunham (Art) of Fort Worth and David Lawhon of Huntsville, Texas; and her grandchildren, Angela Shepherd, Mark Holloway, Patrick Stacks, Matthew Dunham, Autumn Shaffer, Jacob Dunham, Tyler Hartgrove, Wyatt Goertz and Tatum Hartgrove. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elgin Funeral Home (712 N Avenue C, Elgin, TX 78621). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (229 Pleasant Grove Loop, Elgin, TX 78621).
