With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Homer of Rowena, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Homer and Betty Lou Homer; and his pet Boomer. He is survived by : his wife Karen Homer; his brothers, Ronnie Homer of Burleson and Donald Homer of Corpus Christi; his nephews, Chris, Joshua and LaVon Homer; his step-brother Kenneth Lee Taylor of Longview; his step-father Ferral Taylor of Longview; his step-sister Kimberly Taylor Davis; and his parents-in-law, Eddie and Carolyn McNelly.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (501 N Broadway St, Ballinger, TX 76821).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Methodist Church or a charity of your choice in Phillip's honor.
