With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buck Lewis of Clyde, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert O. Lewis and Mittie G. Feazel Lewis; and his siblings, James Earl Lewis, John Oliver Lewis, Ruth Talbot and Reba Nell "Sandy" Hudson.
He is survived by : his wife Muarl Lewis of Clyde, Texas; his daughter Vicki Arlene; his son-in-law Curtis Chiappone of Clyde, Texas; his sisters, Betty Simmons of Fairfax, Wanda Ennis of Chesterfield and Carolyn Nota Lewis of Tom, Oklahoma; his grandson Nolan Dee Hayhurst (Laken) of Dudley, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Cashlyn, Callahan and Chesney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Siloam Baptist Church (3436 FM561, Simms, TX 75574).
