He was predeceased by : his mother Willie Welch; his son-in-law Rodger Cherry; his siblings, Davie Lee Welch, Willie Welch Jr., John A. Welch, Edward Welch, Margie Oetken and Ima Jean Welch; and his brothers-in-law, Willie Mazur and Johnny Japort.
He is survived by : his daughter Dana Danette Welch (Welch); his wife Mary Beth Welch; his sons, Charles Edward Welch (Rosie) and Tyler Welch (Bailey); and his grandchildren, Tessa Jacobs (JD), Lillie Welch and Sage Welch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Pleasanton (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Amphion Cemetery.
