He was loved and cherished by many people including : his fathers, Henry L. Averitte and Will R. "Billie" Crosby Averitte; his wife Laura Frisby Averitte; his children, Rhonda Wood of Denton, Texas, Randy Averitte (Sue Ann) of Mountain Village and Darrell Averitte (Jan) of Tyler, Texas; his sister-in-law Randa Watson; and his grandchildren, Michael Wood, Aaron Wood, Brian Averitte, Erika Averitte and Rebecca Averitte.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rhone Funeral Home (3900 S State Hwy 19, Palestine, TX 75801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rhone Memorial Chapel (3900 S State Hwy 19, Palestine, TX 75801). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024 at the Roselawn Park (207 S Magnolia St, Palestine, TX 75801).
