We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2024, at the age of 89, Doris Juanita Stanton of Palestine, Texas, born in Oakwood, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Stanton and Farebell Prestige Stanton; her son David Lynn Henson; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Henson. She is survived by : her children, Bobby Henson and Charlotte Haydon; and her siblings, C. W. Stanton (Cynthia Fairfield), Bonnie Graham (Wesley) of Huntington, Carolyn Ferrari (Joey) of Tyler and Maxine Douglas of Dallas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memory Funeral Home (3434 TX-256 Loop, Palestine, TX 75801). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Memory Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Doris to the March of Dimes or the American Red Cross.
