She was predeceased by : her parents, Wallace Malone and Louise Sumrall; and her spouse Thomas L. Wilson. She is survived by : her children, Robert Hosey (Jennifer), Paula Hosey and Rickey Pickering (Mary); her grandchildren, Earl (Linda), Felicia, Paul and Courtney (Manny); her step-granddaughter Jessica (Gilbert); and her great grandchildren, Chase, Tyler and Caleb Guerra. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Blackwell & Vazquez Funeral Home (750 Uvalde Rd, Houston, TX 77015). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055).
