It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Walton of Longview, Texas, born in Pittsburg, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parent Enola Riley Walton; his wife Lynn Walton; his father Melvin "Coonie" Walton; his daughter Cathe Walton; his brother Dee Walton; and his grandparents, Dave, Charley Shelton Walton, Sam and Ada Riley.
He is survived by : his children, Jason Walton (Melissa) and Tracy Boyd; his step-children, Denise Day (Ron), Teresa Erickson (Andy) and John Paul Cates (Gayla); and his grandchildren, Jackson Boyd, Jonathan Boyd, Connor Walton, Ethan Davenport, Brandi Davenport and Riley Walton. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Riley Cemetery/County Line Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
