It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Flanagan in Gladewater, Texas, born in Marshall, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Kenneth Flanagan; her children, Frank Daniel Flanagan and Wendy Annette Flanagan; her parents, Walter H. Lindsay and Willie Mae Lindsay Proctor; her siblings, Elizabeth Lindsay Malone, Fred Lindsay and Walter D. Lindsay; and her step-fathers, Claude Parker and Paul Proctor.
She is survived by : her sister Vivian Harber of Hallsville; her sisters-in-law, Lorene Carpenter of Hallsville and Margie Adkins of Marshall; her children, Philip Flanagan (Lori) of White Oak, Nancy Flanagan Teague of Conroe and Karen Flanagan Haden (JC) of Marshall; her daughter-in-law Janet Ashdown Wynne; her grandchildren, Michael Ashdown (Nicole) of Tyler, Larissa Teague Patton (Joseph) of Conroe, Wendy Kay Teague Cervantes (David) of Elgin, Cathryn Haden (River), Jospeh Haden of Marshall, Anna Flanagan and Kenneth Flanagan of White Oak; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Beckett, Winter and Rain. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 2nd 2024 at the Colonial Gardens Cemetery.
