With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lesby Ann Elrod of Texarkana, Texas, born in De Kalb, Texas, who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert L. Betts and Mattie P. Cabler Betts; her husband Waddel Elrod; her siblings, Velma Peace, Herbert Betts and Roy Betts; her grandson Alex Easley; and her step-son Tim Elrod.
She is survived by : her daughters, Rhonda Easley of Texarkana and Sandra (Eric Mitchell); her step-children, Mark Elrod (Lisa) of De Kalb, Texas and Gale Stevens of Simms, Texas; her grandchildren, Justin Booker (Renea), Nick Booker (Elizabeth) and Monica Harrison (Todd); and her great grandchildren, Kadin Booker, Devin Booker, Anna Claire Novosad, Kaitlyn Booker and Morgan Booker. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
