It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Andrew Jennings Jr. of Rowlett, Texas, born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Atkins Jennings and Buena D. McLeroy Jennings; and his siblings, Aubrey Jennings, Earl Jennings, Marshall Jennings, Truman Jennings and Helen Grenshaw.
He is survived by : his wife Sherry Elaine Harris; his children, Christopher Jennings of Bonham, Michael Foster (Annette) of Garland, Jana Gibson of Wylie, Cecilia Mock (Ross) of Caddo Mills, Misty Cook of Cooper and Betsy Alt (Jon) of Rowlett; and his brothers, Cecil Jennings, Bobby Jennings (Cindy) and Phillip Jennings. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Oaks Funeral Home (500 Hillcrest Dr N, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 6th 2024 at the Greenview Cemetery.
