He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wenzel and Rosie Wenzel; his son Allen Wenzel (Elizabeth); his grandson Conrad Tullis; and his siblings, Elmer, Harold, Bernard, John, Florine Davis, Rosabell Holtz and Bernadine Petoskey.
He is survived by : his daughters, Kathy Huber, Suzie Marcella (Doug), Joanie Brooks (Larry), Christy Dempsey (Patrick) and Liz Tullis; his wife Lorine; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Chris Huber, Eric Marcella, Phillip Parker, Jennifer Von Bon, Stephanie Wenzel, Tyler McGinnis, Morgan McGinnis and Garrett Tullis. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 from 5:00 AM to 6:30 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (625 Kitty Hawk Rd, Universal City, TX 78148). A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (16075 N Evans Rd, Selma, TX 78154). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 8th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery (15771 I-35 N, Selma, TX 78154).
