It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Alewine of Good Springs, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Asper Alewine and Matilda Alewine (Gregory); his former life partner Cherry Alewine; his brothers, Arden, Leo and Aubrey Alewine; his nephews, Elton and Larry; and his niece Janet.
He is survived by : his wife Hilda Gaytan of Good Springs; his children, Juan (Morena Gonzalez) of Nacogdoches, Carlos (Dasha Gonzalez) of Dallas, Angelica Gonzalez (Ramon Medina) of Tyler and Carolina Gonzalez (Marcos Bernal) of Henderson; his sisters, Zelda Mitchell of Henderson, Hazel Arnold of Troup and Edith Cain (Billy) of Henderson; his grandchildren, Dessy Gonzalez, Alfredo Guzman, Nadia Gonzalez, Adrian Gonzalez, Alonzo, Christian, Jasmine Medina, Camila, Marcos Jr. and Bruno Bernal; his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Gary, Dovena, Raymond, Rickey, Darlene, Yvone, Alex and Danny; and his extended family, Kenny, Kay Berry, Randall, Beth Martin, Melinda Alewine and Eleanor Alewine.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home (1414 S Main St, Henderson, TX 75654). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
