It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Idolina Soliz in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Miguel Soliz and Isabel Sanchez; her step-father Ysabel Samora (Chavelo); and her siblings, Miguel Solis Sr., Abelardo Solis, Gilberto Solis, Reymundo Solis Sr., Daniel Solis Sr., Delia Canchola, Diana Sauceda and Ida Rinche.
She is survived by : her daughter Nita Solis; her brothers, George Solis Sr. (Alvie) of Rockport, Frank Samora of Houston, Rudy Samora (Heidi) of Rockport and Robert Samora of Houston; and her pets, Mickey and Popcorn.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home (814 E Main St, Rockport, TX 78382). A rosary was held on Friday, March 8th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory - Rockport (814 E Main St, Rockport, TX 78382). Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home (814 E Main St, Rockport, TX 78382). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 9th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (209 N Church St, Rockport, TX 78382). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 9th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Rockport Cemetery (2040 Tule Park Dr, Rockport, TX 78382).
