He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Green and Julia Green (Hewitt); and his siblings, Juanita LeFors (Green), Geneva Cordova (Green), Shirley Dunaway (Green) and Harrell Green.
He is survived by : his wife Lynda Faye Green (Knox); his children, Doyle Green (Penni) of Decatur, TX, Judy Copp (Kyle) of Justin, TX, James Darrell Green, Jr. (Staci) of Longview, TX and Jeff Green (Missy) of Azle, TX; his grandchildren, Eric Green, Rashell Garcia (Pete), Krystal Davis (Alan), Kelly Azbell (Chance), Taylor Westbrook (Kyle), Jamie Petty (Jack), Julia Utterback (John), Winnie Lowery (Christian) and Jalyn Green; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Alivia, Ella, Chloe, Titus Garcia, Jackson, Jazlyn, Jayden Miller, Kolt, Knox Davis, Jase, Jodi Petty, Owen Westbrook and Glover Utterback.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hawkins Funeral Home - Decatur (405 E Main St, Decatur, TX 76234-1513). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Rhome Church of Christ (170 W 1st St, Rhome, TX 76078). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 13th 2024 at the Aurora Cemetery (507 Cemetery Rd, Aurora, TX 76078).
