It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucile Wuertele Gates (Coldspring, Texas), born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Gotlieb Wuertele and Frances Wuertele; and her husband Walter C. Gates. She is survived by : her grandson Doug Shinn (Mary); and her great grandchildren, Dillon and Faith (Tyler).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (100 E Pine Ave, Coldspring, TX 77331). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 15th 2024 at 3:45 PM at the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
