It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Fleming (Houston, Texas), born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Floy Mae Boswell and Richard L. Fleming, Sr.; his siblings, Phyllis Rhunke (Herb) and Richard Fleming, Jr. (Joanne); and his siblings-in-law, Ellen LeBlanc and Roger Thomas.
He is survived by : his wife Mickey Messmer Fleming; his children, Dee Fleming Ruiz (Jorge), Charles Edward Fleming, Jr. (Debby) and Stephen H. Fleming (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ashley Tropea (Anthony), Maggie Dougherty (Angelo), Jessi Fleming, Charlie Fleming (Bri), Kristen Wymyczak (Cody), Mark Fleming (Ashley), Br. Dominic Mary and Paige Fleming; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Xavier, Luca, Gianna, Alina, Amelia, Aria, Colton, Kade, Cooper and Kaysey; and his siblings-in-law, H. M. Messmer (Marcia), Toni Costanza (Carl) and Theresa Thomas. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
