We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024, at the age of 53, Kimberly Elizabeth Green of Coppell, Texas, born in Ruston, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Jim, Faye Bennett of Marshall, TX, Elmo and Bobbie Blackmon of Winnsboro, LA. She is survived by : her parents, Jim Wilson Bennett, Jr. and Sandra Blackmon Bennett of Irving; her son Davis Gardner Green of Tampa, FL; her husband Gardner Green of Coppell; her child Abby Green of Abilene, TX; her step-mother Peggy Bennett of Bedford, TX; her parents-in-law, Wendy and Frank Grobmyer of Little Rock, AR; her sister-in-law Jessie Grobmyer of Little Rock, AR; her step-brothers, Cody Barkley (Jessica) of Berkeley, CA, Rev. Bailey Barkley (Randa) of Lubbock, TX and Dr. Kyler Barkley (Camille) of Lubbock, TX.; and her cousin Jay Blackmon of Alexandria, LA.. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rolling Oaks Funeral Home (400 Freeport Pkwy, Coppell, TX 75019). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Valley Ranch Baptist Church (1501 E Belt Line Rd, Irving, TX 75063).
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that you honor Kim with a donation of a children's book to your neighborhood elementary school library in her name.
