It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Maxwell Gatz (Katy, Texas), born in Alva, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Marshall Rhodes Maxwell and Evelyn Florence Baum Maxwell; and her husband Jimmie Ray Gatz. She is survived by : her children, Gregory Jim Gatz (Angela) of Coweta, Bradley Ray Gatz (Andrea) of Katy and Gina Lou Gatz Cornelius of Richmond; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Rebekah (Patton), Bailey (Ben), Cole, Jonathan and Anna. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Kingsland Baptist Church (20555 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77450). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Alva Municipal Cemetary.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in her name be made to the Alva Cory Washburn Swimming Pool fund in Alva, Ok.
