He was predeceased by : his parents, Jerry Young and Myrtle Ann Young (Jeffery); and his brother Joseph Young. He is survived by : his wife Michelle Young of Athens; his children, Tabitha Boswell (Tommy) of Texarkana, John Young Jr. (Kayla) of Texarkana, Andy Bourland (Scarlett) of Athens and Natalie Hurley (Brody); his grandchildren, Honey Boswell and Roman Boswell; and his brother Joshua Young (Brandi) of Texarkana. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel (842 NE Loop 7, Athens, TX 75752). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 21st 2024 at the Oaklawn Memorial Park.
