She was predeceased by : her parents, Compton Scott Connelly and Mary Irma Lewis Connelly. She is survived by : her husband Bennie W. Blakey of Sachse; her children, Brian Scott Blakey, April of Fort Worth, Beth Ann Blakey Johnson and Bobby of Fort Worth; her sister Mary Frances Cryer of Mineola; her grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Genna, Bailey Deskin, Joseph, Thomas Blakey and Ethan Blakey; and her great grandchildren, Laila, Levi and Ruston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Refuge Church (1380 Parker Rd, Wylie, TX 75098). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 29th 2024 at the Wylie Cemetery (508 Masters Ave, Wylie, TX 75098).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carolyn's memory to Coventry Reserve, St. Paul, Texas.
