He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius Ansel Mahaffey and Grace Mae Anderson; his son Roland John Mahaffey; and his siblings, Frances Kelly (Paul), Dorothy Clement (Robert), Erma Childress (Bill), Bob, Frank, Earl and Jack Mahaffey.
He is survived by : his wife Erizola "Eddy" Mahaffey; his children, Jeanette "Nikki" Pulling (Dave), Sandra Shirley (Benjamin), Joe Perez (Kari) and Jesse Perez; his brother Jerry Mahaffey (Violet); his grandchildren, Christa Jensen (Travis), Amanda Pulling, Megan Pulling, Zachary Pulling, Addison Mahaffey, Madilynn Perez, Brodie Perez and Tyler Perez (Dalia); and his great grandchildren, Grayson Jensen, Xander Mahaffey, Ace Mahaffey and Liana Perez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nichols Street Church of Christ (1200 Nichols Ave, Bay City, TX 77414). A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 28th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
