We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2024, at the age of 88, Elisa Guevarra of Big Spring, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Clemente Sanchez and Melquiades Garcia; her husband Juan L. Guevara; her children, Ricardo Guevara and Sylvia Guevara; her grandson Marshall Lee Echevarria; and her siblings, Dora Carrizales, Erminia Gutierrez, Willie Sanchez, Saragosa Sanchez, Clemente Sanchez, Jr. and Luis Sanchez.
She is survived by : her children, Gloria Echevarria (Marshall) of Canyon, Juan Guevara, Jr. (Lisa) of Bloomington, IL and Mary Ann Guevara (Lupe Rodriguez) of Big Spring; her grandchildren, Larissa Vasquez, Juan Anthony Guevara, Nathan Guevara, Melissa Guevara, Andrea Guevara, Jason Guevara, Brittany Cruz and Marisela Rodriguez; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Vasquez, Marlee Vasquez, Havannah Echevarria, Ryder Echevarria, Phoenix Guevara, Estrella Cruz, Ethan Cruz and Cecilia Rose Guevara; and her siblings, Manuel Sanchez and Soila Trevino (Joe).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1009 Hearn St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 27th 2024 at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
