She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Cook and Freda Leota Onstott Cook; her spouse Lyndal Vance Sloan; her grandson Aaron Hughes; and her brother Gerald Cook.
She is survived by : her children, Ronnie Sloan (Karol) of Paris, Susan, Barry Hughes of Andrews, TX, Rick and Sharry Sloan of Camden, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Wesley (Melody Sloan), Christy (Donnie Voyles), Ryan, Beth Sloan, Kara, Justin Hess, Brooke Sloan, Zach (Chelsea Sloan) and Tyler (Brittney Sloan); her great grandchildren, Nevaeh Hughes, Carson Hughes, Charlie Hughes, Case Greer, Ashley Sloan, Jacob Sloan, Ethan Sloan, Dawson Sloan, Rudy Sloan, Ace Russell, Wyatt, Ellie Sloan and Luca Sloan; and her siblings, Donald Cook of Texarkana, TX and Deloris Randel of Lawrence, KS..
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (1771 Bonham St, Paris, TX 75460).
In lieu of flowers the Sloan family request memorials be made to Platinum Hospice.
