She was predeceased by : her parents, Compton Scott Connelly and Mary Irma Lewis Connelly. She is survived by : her husband Bennie W. Blakey of Sachse, TX; her children, Brian Scott Blakey (April) and Beth Ann Blakey Johnson (Bobby); her sister Mary Frances Cryer (late Jerry Cryer) of Mineola, TX; her grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Genna, Bailey Deskin, Joseph, Thomas Blakey and Ethan Blakey; and her great grandchildren, Laila Deskin, Levi Deskin and Ruston Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Refuge Church (1380 Parker Rd, Wylie, TX 75098). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 29th 2024 at the Wylie Cemetery (508 Masters Ave, Wylie, TX 75098).
