With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Kent Jacoby in Brownsville, Texas, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her former life partner Peter Simmons; and her stepson Steven Bruce Jacoby. She is survived by : her children, Stacie Markwood Boggs, Brian Kent Markwood and Andrew Simmons Jacoby (Bobbi Barron); her husband Jerry Jacoby; her daughter Michelle Jacoby Schwartz (Anthony Cadungog); her stepsons, Troy, Todd and Chad Simmons; her grandchildren, Katie, Alyssa, Cody, Blake, Ben, Caleb and Tyler; and her siblings, Ron Kent (Priscilla), Kathy Smith (Larry), Bob Kent (Jan) and Kent. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (305 10th St S, Walker, MN 56484).
