It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maybell Lewis of Rosebud, Texas, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Kelsey and Zelmer Linder Kelsey; her husband David Thomas Lewis; her siblings, Elmore Kelsey, Johnny Kelsey of Glen Kelsey, R. B, Jessie Kelsey, Homer Kelsey and Marie McIntosh; her grandchildren, Stacey Diane Mulsow, Nathan Lee Sodek and DeWayne Thorpe; and her close friend Josie DeLeon.
She is survived by : her children, Shirley Uptmor of West, Patsy Dorner of Lindale, David Lewis (Evelyn) of Temple, Sylvia Mulsow (Freddie) of Waco, Marshall Lewis of Heidenheimer and Glenda McLerran (John) of Belton; and her great-niece Patricia Lantz. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home (111 2nd St, Rosebud, TX 76570). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
