It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Avery of Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bobby Avery to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Hudgen Avery and Elizabeth Avery; his siblings, Katherine, Carolyn and Ralph; and his son-in-law Jerry McCoskey II.
He is survived by : his wife Vivian; his children, Doug (Kristie) and Jackie; his grandchildren, Tim (Rebecca), Heather and Madison; his great grandchild Caroline; and his brother Carl (Nobuyo). He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Texarkana Funeral Home (3515 Texas Blvd, Texarkana, TX 75501). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church (600 Westlawn Dr, Texarkana, TX 75501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Westlawn Missionary Baptist Church.
