It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Macek of Call, Texas, born in Rosebud, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lucy Minnie Greger and Ervin Joseph Willberg; and her sister Rita Matkovich of Centerville, Iowa.. She is survived by : her husband Robert Macek of Cyclone; her children, Janet Ashcraft of Seaton, Carl Macek of Cyclone, David Macek of Temple and Mark Macek (Marla) of Tyler; her siblings, Charles Willberg of Westphalia, Ronnie Willberg of Westphalia, Steve Willberg of Westphalia, Doris Wright of Westphalia, Connie Tindle of Westphalia, Karen Pomykal of Rosebud and Arlene Wegwerth of Robinson; and her grandchildren, Cortni, Kalen Ashcraft, John and Anna Macek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Cyclone (20120 FM 485, Gause, TX 77857). A rosary will be held on Monday, April 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Barbara to St. Mary's Altar Society in Cyclone.
