He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Estes Qualls and Luticia Royal Qualls; his wife Marceile Qualls; his brother Archie Qualls; and his children-in-law, Huey Birdwell, Pat Bascle and Amy Qualls.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Whitton (Jeff) of Shreveport, Donna Bascle of Avinger, Susan McQueen (Mike) of Quitman, Texas, Carl Qualls (Cindy) of Porter and James Qualls (Adrienne) of Avinger, Texas; his grandchildren, Ben Ewald (Sabrina), Trey Qualls (Natalie), Christopher Qualls (Carrie), Patrick Qualls, Ethan Qualls, Sam Qualls and Kaitlyn Windschitl (Malachi); and his sister Joan Prudhome. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Hughes Springs (1213 Hanes Blvd, Hughes Springs, TX 75656). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church (125 S Main St, Avinger, TX 75630).
