She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Oates and Agnes L. Oates (Howell). She is survived by: her husband Tullos Williams; her children, Tullos A. Williams, Jr. (Linda) of Gilmer, Edward Williams (Debbie) of Gilmer and Delcine Johnson (Wade) of Longview; her brother James Oates III (Charlotte) of Lawton, OK; and her grandchildren, Lyndsey Reynolds (Casey), Sarah Davis (Dustin), Elizabeth Smith (Ryan), Ashley Patel (Vivek), Catherine Williams, Sydney Anderson (J. P.), Allison Johnson, Benjamin Johnson (Ashley), Michael Johnson (Gabbye), Nathan Johnson and Daniel Johnson. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (304 Buffalo St, Gilmer, TX 75644). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (1582 US Hwy 271 S, Gilmer, TX 75644).
The family suggests that donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Choir Fund in memory of Laura Williams.
