It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alonzo William Cox of Flint, Texas, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alonzo William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alonzo William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Wayne Cox and Edith Haddon Cox. He is survived by: his family Frances Dupuy Cox; his children, Karen Cox Pearce (Rickey Pearce) and Michael Cox (Vicki Cox); and his grandchildren, Katherine "Katie" Pearce Raney and Matthew "Matt" Pearce. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bullard Methodist Church (204 Rather St, Bullard, TX 75757). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (2400 S Donnybrook Ave, Tyler, TX 75702).
