He was predeceased by: his son Richard Caplan; and his parents, Bernard Caplan and Dorothy Caplan. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Caplan; his sons, Larry Caplan, Brian Caplan (Kimberly) and Marshall Caplan (Michelle); his sister Marsha Winner; and his grandchildren, Emily Rose, Brenton Jonah (Stephanie), Liam Allen and Olivia Marie.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery (318 Berrymans Ln, Reisterstown, MD 21136).
