She was predeceased by: her parents, Cuel Arnold (C. L.) and Frances Arnold; and her husband Dickie Ray Cleveland. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Cleveland (Stephanie) and Carla Williams (Brent); her grandchildren, Brenlie, Elijah, Carter and Claire; her aunt JoAn James; her siblings, Linda McDaniel and Rick Arnold (Sharon); and her siblings-in-law, Donna Arnold and Marvin Pierce (Emily). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors - Whitney (201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene-Whitney (1103 N Brazos St, Whitney, TX 76692). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and in Sonja's honor, donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Whitey, Texas.
