It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ginger J. DeSpain of Freer, Texas, who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Johnston and Alberta Roberts Johnston; and her daughter Lacie L. DeSpain. She is survived by: her husband Dan C. DeSpain; her sons, Shane A. Price of Houston, Texas, Daniel W. DeSpain of Shreveport, Louisiana and Jake T. DeSpain (Bonnie A.) of Waskom, Texas; her siblings, Mickey Johnston of Freer, Texas and Charlotte Young of Delhi, Texas; and her grandchildren, Dylan Mitchell, Alli DeSpain, Jake DeSpain Jr., Casey Leone and Eli Leone. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Christian Center (1020 E Jeff Cowley St, Freer, TX 78357). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
