He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lamon (Myers) and Harvey Dee Lamon; his son James Scott Lamon; and his brother Terry Lamon. He is survived by: his siblings, Robin Noel (Chuck), Rebecca Lamon of Lufkin, Kelly Sumrall (Larry) and Mark Lamon (Jayne); his grandchildren, Alice Lamon of Frankston, TX and Scott Bergmann of Omaha, Nebraska; and his nieces and nephews, Summer Kelley (Richard), Kylie McMillion (Caden), Jesse Lamon, Tyler Lamon, Chris Noel, Craig Noel, Dustin McPhail and Johvon. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gipson Funeral Home (1515 S Chestnut St, Lufkin, TX 75901). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
