It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Patrick Vicars of Dayton, Texas, born in Victoria, Texas, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Vicars; his son Baron Vicars; and his parents, JP and Claudette. He is survived by: his son Brian Vicars (Yolanda) of Shreveport, LA; his grandchildren, Clayton, Austin, Lisa, Joe, David, Kane and Noelle; and his siblings, Phil Vicars (Dale) and Beverly Inman (Tim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (202 E Houston St, Dayton, TX 77535). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Dayton or a charity of your choice in David's honor.
