He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Macedonia, Daniel Garza Sr. and Raymond Benavidez Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Garza; his children, Daniel Ray Garza II and Kaitlin MaRaye Garza (TJ Martinez); his grandchildren, RayAnn Martinez, Thomas Ray Martinez and Mia Martinez; his parents, Daniel Garza and Lillie Garza; his sister Danella Connor (Steve Connor); his niece Aubrey Connor; his nephews, Brenden Landgraf and Dawson Connor; and his grandmother Erlinda Benavidez. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory - Rockport (814 E Main St, Rockport, TX 78382). A rosary will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (209 N Church St, Rockport, TX 78382). A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Prairie View Cemetery (4424 FM 1069, Aransas Pass, TX 78336).
