She is survived by: her husband Clifford Simmons; her children, Carlton Simmons (Marla) of Nederland, Willie Simmons (Jennifer) of Lumberton and Edie Cessna (Kevin) of Nederland; her grandchildren, Amy Blount (Brandon), Joy Bouget (James), Melanie Bell (Lucas), Chad Simmons, Alettra Hudson, Morgan Laird (Brandon), Mason Simmons (Courtney), Mitchell Simmons (Makenzie), Holly Mitchell (Clint) and Hunter Cessna (Dana); her great grandchildren, Mexia, Garrett, Marshall, Brett, Camdyn, Kingston, Marlie, Griffin, Bradlie, Adaline, Jude, Lincoln, Cason, Ava, Jackson, Lucy, Jett, Jax and Drake; and her sister Patti Ann Anderson of The Woodlands.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627).
Her contributions to the community did not go unnoticed; she was instrumental in dedicating and establishing the Auxiliary at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas, further solidifying her legacy of service.
