It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Hicks of Kingwood, Texas, born in Galena Park, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Cox and Chloe Cox; and her siblings, Bobby Cox and Jimmie Lynn Kief. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hicks; her son Aaron Watson (Gayle); her grandsons, Matthew and Alek; her siblings, Evelyn (Bill Tapley) and Larry Cox; her brother-in-law Werner Kief; her niece Jana Sweeny; and her nephews, Kirby Trapolino, Phillip Kief, Tyler Kief and Randy Cox.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood (5520 Kingwood Dr, Kingwood Area, TX 77345).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
