He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Chumley Day; his stepfather Alton Day; his father Ernest G. Johnson Sr.; his uncle Earl Chumley; his mother-in-law Vickie Halter; his son-in-law Todd Fore; and his pet Tex.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Johnson of Wake Village, TX; his son Wade; his daughter-in-law Connie Johnson of Texarkana, AR; his daughter Joanna Fore of Texarkana, TX; his siblings-in-law, John and Sue Halter of Belton, TX.; his grandsons, Jason (Lindsey Fore), Colby (Samantha Fore), Austen (Mackenzie Wood) and Carson Wood of Jonesboro, AR.; and his great grandchildren, Steven and Luke Fore of Maud, TX.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (3015 Moores Ln, Texarkana, TX 75503).
