He was predeceased by: his parents, George English and Opal English; and his brother Buddy Guthrey. He is survived by: his wife Darla Kay English; his children, Angela Folds (Chad) and Bryan Simpkins (Laura); his grandchildren, Kayla Wehunt, Christopher Wehunt (Heather), Timothy Wehunt, Macy Simpkins and Kalea Harris; his siblings, Bill English and Neta Gannaway; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Calvert, Regina Hightower (Rex) and Kenny McDonald (Greta). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at the Danville Cemetery (200 Memorial St, Kilgore, TX 75662).
