He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Wilson and Finna Faye Bennett (McGee); his brother Glen Hayes; and his mother-in-law Pat Woods Moore. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Bennett of Jefferson; his daughter Ashley Ann Bennett of Irving, Texas; and his siblings, Jim Bennett (Peggy), Phil Bennett (Julie) and Judy Bennett Kimberly (Kirby). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (106 E Fannin St, Marshall, TX 75670). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (507-501 N Line St, Jefferson, TX 75657).
