He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Shanholtz Sr. and Virginia Lee Pyles Shanholtz; his sister Deborah Lee Shanholtz Lash; and his great grandchild Sawyer Shanholtz. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Crawford Shanholtz; his children, Tonya Shanholtz, Kelli, Greg Bergbower, Shelby and Lesley Shanholtz; his nephew Dustin Lash; his grandchildren, Bree Bergbower-Foster, Harrison, Brayden Bergbower, Crystal Willis, Brylee Bergbower, Cody Swaim, Lauren Norwood, Korbyn and Brandon Shanholtz; his great grandchildren, Kinlei Bergbower, Lawson Bergbower, Rylee Norwood and Kolbi Holley; his sister-in-law Andra Hassell; his nephew Les Hassell; and his niece Lana Starkey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
